I am a interdisciplinary researcher and I dedicate my research efforts to comprehending the factors and feedbacks influencing land systems and sustainability outcomes. A key aspect of my research involves examining how culture influences land use processes. The primary focus of my thesis has been on understanding cattle ranching and linked deforestation in the Brazilian Amazon. My methods include both deep learning-driven spatial analysis and feminist political ecology theory.
